Hemerocallis 'Olympic Arrowhead' (2007) Tetraploid, Apricot cream
with feathered purple eye above yellow to orange throat.
30" scape, 6.5" flower, Early, semi-evergreen, 3 branches, 17 buds,
(Destined to See X Wild Horses) Seedling #01-8.
'Olympic Arrowhead' starts blooming early in the season, yet it opens and performs well. A welcome sight indeed, when many other cultivars struggle in the cooler weather. In comparison to either of its parents, its flowers are jumbo sized at 6.5 inch diameter, on average. Many of the first flowers are 7 inches. Pollen fertile only for me. .---$30.00. |
