Hemerocallis 'Olympic Osprey' (2008) Tetraploid, Yellow with maroon eye above green throat. 39" scape, 5.5" flower, Early midseason, dormant, 3 branches, 13 buds, (Desperado Love X Raspberry Beret) Seedling #00-130.

'Olympic Osprey' is a real dazzler in the garden, despite its unexciting stats. At times, the petals flex like the wings of an acrobatic osprey, a bird of prey found near bodies of water. Though the flower diameter is only 5.5 inches, its wingspan is larger. Importantly, it opens reliably, though sometimes single petals or sepals flex outward. .---$30.00.
