above yellow to green throat.
36" scape, 4.75" flower, EM, Semi-evergreen, 4 branches, 24 buds, emo.

If "sunrise" color is your thing, you'll like H. 'OLYMPIC SUNRISE'. In this case, sunrise comes early and faithfully, with blooms of consistent quality opening fully even in cooler weather. Like the early morning sunshine on the glaciers of Mount Olympus, the yellow outer portion of the throat radiates into the petals, giving them a warm peach glow. Although substance is adequate, the flowers could benefit from it being heavier. The scapes are tall and strong, holding the flowers well above the foliage, but curiously, they do tend to lean about 20 degrees away from the center of the plant. Plants are vigorous and increase well. Sets pods, but not easily. Pollen is very fertile. .---$20.00 |
